Ah, the lazy days of summer. A time to relax, rejuvenate and relax before the madness of another school year coming upon us. Unfortunately, the peace offering this summer is often short, sometimes with the all too familiar to be replaced, "I am boooorreeed do nothing to dooooo ..." What is a mother to do to keep shouting battle to a minimum? The answer comes in two simple words that have a variety of ways - screen images. With a trip to your localcraft store to have everything needed for busy minds occupied.
All the big craft stores - and some of the discount department stores - selling pre-stretched canvas in a variety of shapes and sizes. The simplest is to manage for small hands a square piece, usually 12 x 12. "Pick up some of these, and some of the individual supplies listed below, and you're on your way to a variety of projects.
Scrapbook on the wall
Before the boss can craft storesee your child through some of his old photos and select a wall hanging in a few new album (a possible theme could be a family vacation or special leave). Dry brush to the canvas in a favorite color of acrylic craft and leave for several hours. From here you can make it as simple or elaborate as you (and his budding artists), or for decorations, for your heart desires. You can also try to stencil, stamping, or hand-write a song. Glue allPieces in place with the idea of craftsmanship and viola! A scrapbook page can hang your child on her bedroom wall!
Celebrity Collage
If you are the happy parents of a "between the age" girl you're probably familiar with the full fan magazines with articles and photos of their favorite stars. If the stack of magazines to take home to start, this project offers a great way to eliminate clutter and keep her daughter at the same time to save images from their "fave". The colorcanvas with acrylic paints dry and cool. In the meantime, your daughter cut out pictures of their favorite stars. Use decorative edge scissors, if you have them, if not, do a nice twist of the wrist! The pictures are then glued to the screen, overlapping each other, as the artist chooses. Embellish with glitter, jewels, stickers - the possibilities are endless! Finished with decoupage glue to seal the project. His daughter, a collage of all his "preferred" orIndividual prizes for each. They are cut much longer than the individual images, and looks much better on your wall!
Bas-relief paintings
Greeks, Romans and Egyptians were only a few companies to experiment with this "relief", a form of painting in 3-D, and now your budding artist can too! Just paint the canvas in a favorite color, glue and easy 3D objects on the screen. An option that is particularly easy, this project is a bas-reliefFacilitating the solar system. With a sponge, "stamp" to dry the paint on the canvas in various shades of blue, e. Cut foam balls in different sizes, painted in the center and watch how the planets and moons. If it is completely dry, glue on the screen. Your child is the universe on his wall. Other items work fine with this type of project, including letters (a monogram of art) and perforated small. Let your child a masterpiece of emergency, which could create a mirror imagehim!
Just Paint It
Of course, there's nothing wrong with just a canvas to paint and grabbed some work by hand (or even paint with their fingers) and for her! With this option you can use the child as abstract as Picasso and Seurat as intentional! For artists working in smaller families, with finger paints also good. Add some 'sponge shapes for maximum enjoyment easy. Masterpieces from this option can hang a beautiful memory for you on your own wall!
The above possibilities areonly the beginning of all the possibilities, the flowering of a simple wooden frame. Try these or create your own, and you are sure that the "do nothing" battle cry to keep at least this summer!
